Affinity Dental Management is a dentist-led Dental Support Organization built to remove administrative burden so clinical teams can deliver exceptional care. We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting across a multi-site healthcare environment.
This is a steady, high-autonomy role for an accountant who likes to own their work, keep the books clean, improve processes, and partner closely with a strong finance team - without managing direct reports.

What You’ll Own (Core Responsibilities)
Month-End Close & GL
Prepare and post journal entries, maintain account reconciliations, and resolve variancesMaintain prepaid and accrued expense schedules; support accruals including payroll/payroll taxesSupport close documentation and ensure accounting accuracy and complianceRevenue, AR & Practice-Level Reporting
Record and reconcile revenue activity in QuickBooks (production, adjustments, deposits)Prepare schedules tying practice cash deposits to QuickBooksMaintain AR aging, bad debt schedules, and revenue schedules by facilityCompensation & Payroll Support (Finance Schedules)
Support physician/doctor compensation accruals and related templates/import filesAssist with staff incentive/bonus calculations tied to production/collections metrics (where applicable)Fixed Assets & Audit Support
Reconcile fixed assets; identify capital items within repairs & maintenanceMaintain Excel schedules for financed assets and depreciationPrepare audit schedules and support external audit requestsControls, Confidentiality & Documentation
Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standardsProtect confidential financial information and ensure data integrity
What We’re Looking For
3-5+ years accounting experience (we will consider strong candidates across levels)Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (required)Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, clean schedules)QuickBooks experience strongly preferredHealthcare / multi-location industry experience is a plusAnalytical, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently
