Position: Mechanic
Location: Fairfield, CT
Hours: 3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am
Pay: $20-$23/hr plus a shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic trouble shooting and repair of packaging and production machine.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance reports and log entries on condition of machines.
• Ensure that production and packaging equipment produce product within established Q.A standards and conduct all assigned quality monitoring functions. 

Requirements:

• A mechanical background to mold from – familiarity with automotive industry, or aviation mechanics is preferred.
