AP/AR Accounting Analyst

The AP/AR Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company’s financial operations by managing the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Under the direction of the Corporate Controller and AR/AP Manager, this position ensures accurate financial records, timely processing of invoices and payments, and effective cash flow management through diligent collections and reconciliations.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes:
    • Accurately code and enter vendor invoices.
    • Prepare and send customer invoices and apply incoming payments.
  • Monitor and follow up on customer collections; reconcile outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors, review invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals.
  • Assist with employee expenses, reimbursements and travel claims as needed.
  • Participate in month-end close and reporting processes, particularly related to AP and AR.
  • Perform additional accounting duties as assigned to support the Finance team.

 

Schedule:

  • M-F, 8-5 -Central Time.  Ability to work after hours during the week and weekends, as the workload requires.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Unanet or Epicor is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in AP/AR or general accounting.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with government contract accounting and FAR is a plus

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • CONUS travel may be required from time to time.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 80,000 USD per year(Albers Aero HQ-Albers Headquarters)
