Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/RVS) – Full Time
Location: Methuen, MA
Salary: $90,000–$110,000 + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/RVS) to join a high-volume outpatient vascular lab. As the sole technologist at the site, you will independently perform a full range of vascular ultrasound examinations, support venous procedures including ablations, and ensure the highest standards of diagnostic imaging. This role requires expertise in hemodynamics, vascular pathology, and accreditation compliance, with a strong focus on patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive vascular duplex and physiologic ultrasound exams, including carotid, abdominal aorta, renal, mesenteric, arterial, venous, and reflux studies.
Provide ultrasound support for venous procedures, including ablation therapies.
Manage daily operations of the vascular lab, including workflow, exam documentation, and patient care.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality assurance activities.
Provide preliminary results, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate findings with referring clinicians.
Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration.
Educate patients and staff, offering guidance on procedures and technical protocols.
Participate in continuing education to stay current in vascular ultrasound practices.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Ultrasound (or related allied health/health-science field) or Associate’s degree with formal vascular ultrasound training.
Experience: 5–10 years performing a full range of vascular ultrasound exams, including experience supporting venous treatments/ablations in a hospital or high-volume outpatient setting.
Certification: RVT or RVS required.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Strong communication skills with patients and physicians.
Preferred:
Experience as the sole technologist in an outpatient facility.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and vascular ultrasound best practices.
