Overview:
Develop and implement policies and programs for high risk/cost medications, to optimize safety, efficacy, regulatory compliance, report metrics and provide education to healthcare providers. To participate in the quality initiatives, performance improvement, accreditation readiness, academic programs, clinical research, and interdisciplinary activities. Serve as a liaison among the multiple disciplines, collaborating with providers, nurses, ancillary services, quality, accreditation, legal/compliance and executive leadership team members to promote optimal therapeutics and patient care.
