General Description:
The Director HR Business Partner (HRBP) will embrace the shared responsibility required for leading Strategic People and Culture initiatives, champion the “OU Health Way” to serve as a cultural anchor to consistency delivery high employee engagement, ensure there is requisite top talent to meet our organizational needs, and will be driven by relentless focus on excellence.
Primarily responsible for serving as a strategic partner with executive/senior leaders to build organizational capability through influencing and guiding the development and deployment of strategies, programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring human resources support activities are aligned with the overall business strategy, and overseeing the implementation of organizational change efforts. Viewed as a leader and expert in all functional areas of Human Resources with an emphasis on performance management, transformation and change management, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other HR and organizational functions. Leads a team of HR Business Partners and is fully accountable for the success of the designated function or department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience required. 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Relevant senior level HR certification required within 1 year (ex. SHRM-SCP; HRCI-SPHR).
