Key Responsibilities

  • Check mail and email daily; route, respond, or escalate as appropriate

  • Communicate with field staff and coordinate necessary updates or documentation

  • Assist with processing payroll

  • Enter and manage basic financial data using QuickBooks

  • Complete permit applications and compile billing documentation

  • Maintain digital and paper records in an organized manner

  • Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily correspondence and task tracking

  • Support basic office operations as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years administrative or office assistant experience (construction industry a plus)

  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision

  • Attention to detail and consistency in daily workflows

  • Knowledge of construction permitting and billing processes is a plus

  • Must be based in or near Little Ferry, NJ

Schedule
