About the Role
The Human Resources Manager leads all District HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, recruitment, benefits, training, and strategic HR initiatives. You will work closely with supervisors, directors, and the District Manager to cultivate a positive, equitable, and values-driven workplace grounded in:

Key Responsibilities
As the HR Manager, you will lead HR operations and provide comprehensive employee support by advising supervisors on employee relations, policies, and conflict resolution. You will conduct investigations, support grievance and compliance processes, and foster a respectful, collaborative, and professional workplace. You will also drive recruitment, onboarding, and development by managing the full hiring cycle, ensuring consistent hiring practices, overseeing onboarding and new hire compliance, and developing and delivering training programs that support both leadership and staff. In addition, you will shape benefits, compensation, and performance by administering benefits and wellness initiatives, managing ACA reporting, supporting classification reviews and compensation analysis, and partnering with Finance to ensure accurate payroll coordination. You will advance policies and strategic HR initiatives by refining HR policies and employee programs to support District goals, analyzing HR metrics to inform decision-making and process improvements, and enhancing HR systems, consistency, and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of five years of progressive HR experience across key HR functions. A strong understanding of employment law, HR systems, and best practices is essential, as are excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and integrity are critical, and HR certifications (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) are preferred. Candidates must also hold a valid Colorado driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time, exempt position offers a salary range of $89,300 to $125,900, with an expected hiring range of $89,300 to $103,200 annually, depending on experience. The District supports work-life balance through flexible hybrid work options, 168 hours of PTO annually, 80 hours of holiday pay, and 24 hours of bereavement leave. Health and wellness are a priority, with the District covering 90% of employee-only medical premiums and 75% of family coverage, along with free dental and vision coverage for employees.
