Job Title: Primary Care Nurse Practitioner – Family, Adult, Pediatrics
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $150k (based on experience and internal equity)
Bonus: Bilingual Spanish: ~$2,500
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner with outpatient healthcare experience. This full-time role involves independently providing comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education.
Candidates must have:
Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, including prescribing/DEA license OR
New graduates who are bilingual Spanish
Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and physical examinations
Develop and implement care plans
Order medications, diagnostic tests, and evaluate results
Provide routine and illness care, patient counseling, and education
Coordinate patient follow-up and referrals to other providers
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Participate in teaching of medical students and health professionals
Perform related duties as required
Registered Nurse with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or accredited Physician Assistant program
Minimum 2 years outpatient APRN experience (for experienced candidates)
Connecticut Controlled Substance license and DEA license
BLS Certification
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease states, and medication interactions
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Mon-Wed: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Thurs: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Fri: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sat: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
