Division Orders Supervisor

In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Division Orders Supervisor is responsible for a team of analysts handling Division Order activities within multiple geographical areas. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Must have at least (8) years of Division Order/Land Administration experience including (3) years of supervisory experience and mastery of the skills and knowledge required of a DOA.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team in line with organizational goals, with excellent professional judgement, a high level of autonomy in decision making, and demonstrated history of professional advancement and roles with increasing responsibilities and authority. Advanced Excel skills including V-Lookups & Pivot Tables are required. Prior project management experience is a plus.

Must have strong analytical skills including problem-solving, complicated computations and the ability to quickly manage a high volume of new wells and acquisitions. Must have a strong understanding of how division order data feeds to and interfaces with Revenue Accounting, Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billing. A good understanding of Take-in-Kind and oil & gas and mineral leasing is required. This role will report to the VP-Land Admin.

Special focus to be placed on:

• Analyze and interpret provisions of deeds, leases, assignments, probate documents, contracts, legal decrees, division orders, joint operating agreements, contracts, and other similar and related legal documents conveying title to oil and gas properties,
• Review title opinions, unitization orders and pooling declarations
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets calculating divisions of interest and establish and maintain well title ownership decks in Land system
• Process ownership changes upon receipt of deeds, leases, assignments, and other pertinent documentation
• Resolve interest owner inquiries
• Research and resolve title requirements for suspended interest owners
• Assist with training and process creation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Land system
• Ensure that internal control procedures are maintained
• Complete work timely to comply with contractual and statutory requirements
• Communicate and interact effectively with internal counterparts in Land, Operations, Lease Records, Accounting, and Marketing
• Communicate professionally and effectively with external royalty/working interest owners and other business stakeholders as required
• Assist department with gathering and analyzing data for acquisition or divestiture of company interests.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 8 years of DO experience
• Must have a supervisory experience
• Experience in Oklahoma preferred
• Understanding of TIK and complex oil and gas calculations

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
