Senior Accountant I Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant I is responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP) . The position will take ownership of the month-end close process, perform complex reconciliations, and provide financial insights to management, often acting as a bridge between junior staff and the Director of Accounting. Responsibilities Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead or actively participate in closing the books, preparing, and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
