Yard Drivers at the Mitchell Grocery Distribution Center operate commercial motor vehicles to move trailers and equipment to assigned dock doors and various locations throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner. Candidates for this position must have a current Class A commercial driver's license; the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical, and pass a Company administered road test. The desired candidate will possess a good work history, a safe driving record, the ability to work various shifts and weekends, and the ability to work with others as a team to accomplish Company goals and objectives in a fast-paced environment. Drivers employed at the Mitchell Grocery Distribution Center are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to Mitchell Grocery customers. In addition, drivers are responsible for pick-up and delivery of backhauls to Mitchell Grocery. Drivers are home every day.
