Overview About the Role The Manager Radiology, in cooperation with the Director Radiology, is accountable for planning, organizing and administratively directing the daily clinical and business operations of the Radiology Department. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, including providing oversight of the administrative staff and technical staff which includes human resource functions, hiring, coaching, performance appraisals and ensuring clinical competency. Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Radiologic Technologist Aide position is to provide patient/material transportation service and aide and assist the technical/nursing staff to improve patient throughput. These materials may include, but are not limited to specimens, oxygen tanks, packages, slips, supplies, medication orders, labs, mail, CT/ MRI supplies, and other items as needed. May utilize various equipment locks, etc. The Radiologic Technologist Aide will communicate/secure preventive maintenance on all transport equipment as required. Performs appropriate procedure and related techniques on patients, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
