The POD will provide ongoing observation of all fetal heart rate tracings and maternal vital signs for all obstetric patients in Lee Health facilities. This will be accomplished by utilizing the PeriWatch Vigilance software, along with Epic and Perigen from a remote central location in the HealthPark Medical Center. The purpose of this additional support is to provide an additional layer of patient observation, in conjunction with the bedside staff and providers, to identify potentially worsening situations and decrease the risk of poor...
