Behavioral Health Unit - Registered Nurse - (FT) The Registered Nurse [RN] (also called Licensed Professional Nurse) plans, coordinates, and implements patient care specific to the age and needs of the patient population served in the Behavioral Health Unit. S/he ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care, while remaining flexible to changing systems and procedures. She/he is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice, foster open communications and treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
