Overview: The Brokerage Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Brokerage department and act as a liaison for Brokerage with vendors, and other NFI departments such as Accounting, IT, Carrier Relations, and Risk Management. This position reports to Brokerage Operations Supervisor. Responsibilities: Effectively on-board new customers including account set-up in the system and working with NFI credit. Maintain NFI Brokerage TMS current with customer information. Streamline processes wherever possible (EDI, Web Services). Ensure proper follow up and management of all loads in coordination with the Brokers. Ensure NFI Brokerage’s back office processes are smooth, efficient, and effectively controlled by gathering needed documents, invoicing customers promptly and accurately, paying carriers promptly and accurately.
