Accounting Clerk The Accounting Clerk position is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Hospital and Affiliate Accounts Payable activities. Such responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Accurate and timely processing of high-volume vendor invoices, reimbursements, and other payment requests. Ability to communicate with vendors in a professional manner and address vendor inquiries promptly. Maintain and update vendor records, including the reconciliation of vendor statements, in order to identify and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Collect W-9 forms and correctly set up new vendors in the system. Operate a three-way match of invoices to purchasing orders to receiving documentation. Oversee the routing of invoice approvals, ensuring proper department approvals are received and verifying the accuracy of general ledger account coding.
