Overview: The Associate is responsible for registering and ordering laboratory testing procedures from multiple locations, creating accounts, obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information, and interpreting physician laboratory orders. This Associate obtains and verifies that requisitions and specimens include adequate information for patient identity, payment and diagnosis. This person determines specimen adequacy for testing. The training insures the skills required for proper specimen collection, handling and processing.
