Overview: Meets the needs of ED patients and outpatients at the South Coastal Campus who require general US and vascular diagnostic studies. Responsibilities: Performs vascular testing and general US studies and  measurements using the computer-assisted analysis  package.   Recognizes artifacts and technical problems and  eliminates probably sources  Recognizes abnormalities and reports to physician in a timely manner. Repeats various portions of the study at the request of  the vascular or radiology physician. Increases clinical knowledge through one or more of the  following: journal review, text book and video training  aides, membership in a local or national vascular  association as well as general US CEU.
