Overview
About the Role The primary purpose of the Diet Control Assistant position is to provide infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with quality Food & Nutrition services, operational information; and serves as the liaison between the patient care unit(s) and the Department of Food & Nutrition. Delivers all meals/food items to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in designated patient care unit(s) within specified time frames. Performs in a caring, conscientious and confidential manner toward patients, family members, visitors, colleagues, staff and students. Maintains individual patient care electronic Card files and coordinates interdepartmental communications.
