Overview: The Carrier Development Specialist is responsible for developing the carrier base for NFI’s third-party or fourth-party transportation services and for overseeing the provision of alternative transportation options for NFI’s Domestic Transportation Services. This role reports to a Lead or Manager of Carrier Capacity. Responsibilities: Researches and analyzes the suitability of carriers, in order to identify and secure carrier partners and capacity in specific market areas. Understand the requirements associated with the parameters for an acceptable carrier within NFI’s standard carrier qualifications and use his discretion in analyzing whether such requirements are met by carriers.
