Correspondence Coordinator Individual will ascertain appropriateness of request for medical record information and to comply with appropriate requests in a timely manner, in accordance with applicable laws/regulations and pertinent department and hospital policies. Will promptly record and respond in a timely manner to requests for information from a medical record, review medical record to verify that restricted information is not present; to obtain proper authorization before copying and releasing if restricted information is present
REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate OR Associates Degree in Medical Records Technology - If a graduate with an associate's degree, no experience is required; if a high school graduate, two years of experience in medical record technology is required. PI1aa9566108b8-37641-39319145
