Job Summary: The Equipment Supply Medical Assistant encompasses many duties, but in large will be tasked with managing the use of medical equipment and supplies, responsible for the application and removal of casts, orthopedic splints, and devices, and for tracking and documentation of all DME equipment and devices for billing purposes. The candidate must be a good communicator, as the position requires interacting with customers, vendors, representatives, employees, and providers. This person must have the ability to work both with a team and independently, have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to use various computer software systems. This person must be able to multitask, prioritize work, and be able to balance a high-stress and high-demand work environment while maintaining professionalism.
