SUMMARY: Tooling Technician is responsible for coordinating the various daily Tooling (mold) activities with Production and Maintenance and communicating to Tooling Manager and/or Manufacturing Manager on any issues with tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: · Repair and provide preventative maintenance of all tooling (using outside vendor as needed). · Schedule mold maintenance. · Coordination for outside repairs, maintenance and new tooling in collaboration with Tooling Manager. · Retain last shot from mold for record keeping. · Pickup and delivery of molds from outside vendors. · Establish new tooling requirements. · Test new molds and implement changes or alterations as required. · Initiate work orders for mold repairs or alterations using IQMS. · Work with VP of Manufacturing, Mfg.
