Overview: Responsible for instituting strategic initiatives, which position the UF Health system to maximize reimbursement opportunities and make appropriate adjustments in response to the federal and state regulatory environment. Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Reimbursement Activities – Oversees reimbursement activities for the UF Health enterprise including regulatory compliance, CMS cost report and FHURS (State of Florida) reporting, government payment rate updates, monthly accounting and annual budgeting for reimbursement activities, organ acquisition cost-based reimbursement, federal and state graduate medical education (GME) funding, and other supplemental funding mechanisms.
