Overview: The Carle Eureka Same Day Surgery (CEH SDS) Department is committed to our Nursing Professional Practice Model; we believe in caring relationships with our patients, families community and colleagues to provide exceptional care. Our dedicated nursing staff, nurse leaders, interdisciplinary team members and physician partners practice within our CEH SDS department and provide specialized outpatient medical and nursing care. All care is provided is provided by highly trained staff who are able to utilize the most current technology and equipment. CEH SDS staff assist with procedural patients - preparing them for surgery and/or discharging after procedure. CEH SDS staff also assist with outpatient medical treatments such as infusions, therapeutic procedures as well as other outpatient cares.
