*Job Overview:* Nicolet Law is looking for an Attorney to join our Personal Injury practice. Must be admitted to practice law in Iowa. This position will involve record review, legal research, legal writing, negotiations, discovery, depositions, hearings, trial, and other work advocating for injured clients in the Midwest. *Responsibilities:* * Manage a personal injury caseload including but not limited to auto accidents, dog bites, slip and fall, wrongful death, and other negligence-based claims * Conduct initial client consultations and case evaluations * Review and summarize case records including but not limited to insurance policies and records, medical and billing records, and police reports * Draft and proof read legal correspondence and demand letters * Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests * Prepare to take and defend depositions, including expert and lay witnesses * Represent clients in mediation and court proceedings...
