Overview: The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own. This position is responsible for operating multiple types of forklift equipment and ability to operate within a rack warehouse environment. Forklift operator needs to be able to operate sit-down/standup, clamp, cherry and reach equipment. Forklift certification required on at least 3 pieces of equipment. Overview: The Lead Technician Material Handling Equipment  is responsible for overseeing the staff in the absence of the Service Supervisor, as well as repairing and maintaining NFI capital equipment and material handling equipment within our Distribution Centers. This Position reports to the Regional  Responsibilities: Manages workflow and productivity of technicians in location. Ensure the fleet meets company and customer operational standards. Coordinates vendor support for major equipment repairs.  Request purchase orders for payment of vendors and for ordering parts. Maintains and reviews parts inventory.
