We are actively searching for an experienced Controller for our client located just south of Providence, RI The Controller will support the CFO and oversee the daily activities for all of the organization’s accounting functions, which includes all of general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable responsibilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities  include, but are not limited to: Manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes. Responsible for the maintenance of the organization’s general ledger. Assist external auditors with auditing functions. Leads the accounting team in performing monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including cash. Support continuous improvement activities through process improvement when possible.
