Description: JOB OVERVIEW: The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for interacting with carrier customers to provide information in response to inquiries, properly matching shipments to appropriate carriers, negotiating rates, providing information on supply and demand and pricing on a daily basis, troubleshooting issues as they arise, providing necessary information to team members and customers about status of shipments, and handling and resolving complaints and issues with carrier customers.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Make outbound phone calls to solicit and match carriers with available loads. Take inbound calls for carrier availability and maintain that information for future use. Develop relationship with core carriers and sell those carriers the benefits of using our service.
