All Staff Pharmacists must be licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy in which they are practicing and must be renewed and kept active in accordance with state pharmacy law. A pharmacist interprets and evaluates prescription orders; dispenses and labels drugs and devices as indicated on a prescription; maintains proper and safe storage of drugs and devices, and offers or performs services, operations, or transactions necessary in conducting, operating, managing, and controlling a pharmacy. It is the pharmacist's legal responsibility to oversee the actions of all auxiliary personnel used to assist the pharmacist in any of their duties.
