Imaging Systems Technician Job Summary This position provides technical support to maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the imaging systems of the hospital in both Radiology and Cardiology departments, including: Radiology Information System (RIS), Radiology Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), Cardiology Information System (CVIS), Cardiology PACS. This support includes both software applications as well as hardware components of the system. The position will assist with the implementation, documentation and distribution of effective training programs for all staff members. Works with the Information Technology department in maintaining maximum amount of uptime and scheduling downtime as necessary. Acts as a training liaison between other departments and physicians who need access to the image management systems. Serves as the first person to contact when problems arise.
