John’s Pharmacy Cape Girardeau Staff Pharmacist *General Responsibilities:* The staff pharmacist is the patient advocate and serves as a resource to advise prescribers for the best available pharmaceutical products or services for his/her patient. The staff pharmacist proactively assures that the patients’ prescriptions are filled accurately and timely, and that the customer/facility staff is counseled appropriately with all pertinent information on the use of medications. The staff pharmacist also serves as a direct and accessible resource to the pharmacy technicians they supervise in day-to-day workflow. It is the pharmacist's legal responsibility to oversee the actions of all auxiliary personnel used to assist the pharmacist in any of their duties.
