Overview: The Med Lab Assistant Lead provides administrative and technical support to Medical Laboratory Assistants within the clinical laboratory. Responsible for the accurate receipt, accessioning, and distribution of specimens to internal and external laboratory departments. Prepares and loads samples for analysis and performs equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on designated instruments. Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School Graduate: 1-2 years post high school, vocational or college level preparation is strongly recommended. Two years of recent hospital-based laboratory experience required.   Motor Vehicle Operator Designation :  Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.   Licensure/Certification/Registration : N/A  

Overview: This position is responsible for performing technical and clerical duties within the inpatient pharmacy distribution system. These duties are associated with providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services to patients of UF Health. Task includes coordination of pharmacy repackaging and compounding, Central Pharmacy inventory management including medications and supplies, medication preparation and distribution to patient care areas and automated dispensing cabinets, regulatory compliance, and other tasks necessary to support safe medication distribution.
