Overview:
The IV Pharmacy Technician is responsible for: Sterile compounding using the principles of aseptic technique. Compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) are prepared in compliance with USP 797 utilizing laminar airflow workbenches and/or biological safety cabinets. Tasks include medication and supply inventory management, medication preparation, medication distribution to patient care units and automated dispensing cabinets, regulatory compliance and other tasks necessary to support safe medication distribution.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements : 1 . EDUCATION: a. High School diploma or equivalent required.
