The Director of Long Term Care (D/LTC) reports to Marla Bunker, Chief Operating Officer/CNO of WMH. He/she is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the 52 bed Long Term Care Department. Along with the Long Term Care Administrator, he/she is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, budgeting, quality reviews and continuing customer service improvement. The Director is responsible for all human resource and financial services of the LTC unit and integrating standards of professional nursing practice into the LTC facility. The D/LTC serves as a leader and clinical resource in promoting and interpreting the philosophy, goals and objectives of nursing administration. The D/LTC will effectively utilize all aspects of the nursing process to manage the care of residents.
