Reports to the Manager of Patient Care Services or Executive Director of Patient Care Services. Manages staff providing patient care services and the daily operations of the department. Contributes to the development/revision of policies, procedures, protocols and standards of care. Assesses the educational needs of staff and acts to meet these needs. Enhances clinical practice through quality improvement projects and cost efficiency programs. Works collaboratively with others to support the goals of the department.
