Nurse Manager - A4 Acute Cardiac Care Unit The Nurse Manager (NM) actualizes the vision, mission and values for Ellis Medicine and maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association, Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s social Policy Statement. The Nurse Manager participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills. The Nurse Manager demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served. This position is accountable for maintaining all clinical administrative functions (patient care delivery, fiscal, material and human resources) of nursing unit(s) on a 24-hour basis.
