Overview: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Orthopaedics practices collaboratively with Orthopaedic providers to deliver comprehensive care to orthopedic patients in our Adult and Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Center. The positions area of responsibility is in the hospital and/or office clinic setting working independently. This position integrates sound communication and clinical skills, as well as superior leadership and decision-making abilities to provide direct patient care to a variety of orthopaedic patients across the continuum, including initial assessment and fracture stabilization, inpatient care, and discharge planning.
