Description Advanced Care Partner (ACP) is a specialized role for nursing (RN) students that are enrolled in or have completed Med/Surg I (or program equivalent). It functionally builds on the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) / Nurse Aide job. The ACP role is commonly understood as a paid nurse internship.
