Nursing Supervisor- Ambulatory Position Purpose: Provides operational oversight of the nursing team, providing safe and efficient care in the following areas: PACU, Pre-Op/ASU, PAT & GI. Coordinates and communicates with the OR Clinical Coordinator and Anesthesia to ensure efficient patient throughput in all of Surgical Services. Develop and maintain physician relationships while monitoring the performance and activities of nurses, technicians and support staff. Ensures unit compliance with all regulatory requirements. Conducts staff training and education to ensure staff competency and yearly training requirements are met. Performs rounds on patients to ensure excellent patient care is being delivered and performs service recovery as needed. CPAN, CAPA or SGNA certifcation preferred.
