Video Monitor Tech JOB SUMMARY The Video Monitor Technician (VMT) role utilizes MedSitter remote patient safety audio and video monitoring technology, to remotely observe up to ten patients simultaneously. The objective of the remote patients’ safety monitoring program is to enhance patient safety. Utilizing MedSitter technology, the VMT will observe, communicate and document behaviors that could be disruptive to the patient plan of care. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Recognizes and practices within scope of certification and competency levels and relays any questions, concerns or situations requiring follow-up or attention to the supervising RN/LPN and seeks assistance when necessary.
