Information Technology Help Desk Analyst
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Information Technology Help Desk Analyst role is to provide support to end users and escalate tickets to tier 2/3 support. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level, which may involve troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues. Participate in rotating after hours/weekend on-call support. While on call, must be within 30 minutes of the hospital. Occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s degree in computer related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
