The Purchasing Manager OEM obtains products, components, and manages inventory by directing procurement, disbursement, shipping quantities and receiving schedules, assists with vendor relationships, on occasion negotiates cost, assisting with the discovery of new complementing product & resources. Will negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment and services. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
