DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION The Behavioral Health Disposition Coordinator works as a collaborative team member for the Emergency Psychiatry Service. This role collaborates with Psych ED BH Clinicians, ED nursing and providers to ensure appropriate care transitions and community-based services. The coordinator demonstrates knowledge and experience with behavioral health and substance use care and treatment and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role supports BHS goal to improve the efficiency of healthcare service delivery and the effective use of resources.
