SUMMARY:  The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functionality of the production machinery by monitoring and operating the machines to analyze results to ensure they meet company standards. They are also responsible for troubleshooting problems, performing repairs on all production machinery & auxiliary equipment, properly documenting work orders and communicating any related issues with equipment. SUMMARY: Tooling Technician is responsible for coordinating the various daily Tooling (mold) activities with Production and Maintenance and communicating to Tooling Manager and/or Manufacturing Manager on any issues with tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: · Repair and provide preventative maintenance of all tooling (using outside vendor as needed). · Schedule mold maintenance. · Coordination for outside repairs, maintenance and new tooling in collaboration with Tooling Manager. · Retain last shot from mold for record keeping. · Pickup and delivery of molds from outside vendors. · Establish new tooling requirements. · Test new molds and implement changes or alterations as required. · Initiate work orders for mold repairs or alterations using IQMS. · Work with VP of Manufacturing, Mfg.
