Overview: The EVS Manager leads all operational coordination and staff supervision within the UF Health Shands system. Oversees the administrative functions of the department. This position ensures environmental services work is completed in accordance with existing expectations and policies, and with a specific focus on quality, safety, employee engagement and service. The manager conducts regular inspections and meets with members of other departments to ensure standards are maintained, while consistently seeking to improve customer, patient and employee satisfaction. The manager deals directly with any equipment malfunction, concerns or KPI deficiencies and develops a plan to address.
