Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities: Responsible for reviewing and evaluating disability and leave cases based on medical documentation, applicable short term disability plans (Reyes Holdings/Union), and legal regulations, making determinations to approve or deny claims, communicating with employees and their healthcare providers, and managing the overall claims process to ensure timely and accurate decision and benefit payouts while adhering to company policies and compliance standards Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) for management of disability and leave cases which includes, verifying employee eligibility, obtaining appropriate medical or medical certification to support the disability and or leave case meets compliance to be eligible for benefits and facilitating timely disability payments, if applicable Interpret medical reports, diagnosis, and treatment plan to determine extent of employee disability or leave.
