Overview:
Has the primary responsibility for all activity related to collection of Self-Pay accounts. Performs account research, balance verification, system maintenance, patient support, and verification of billing and policy compliance. Works with the patients, the Reimbursement Teams, Third Party Payers, Collection Agencies, as well as clinics/departments to maximize collections. Must use independent judgment on the prioritization of assigned tasks.
