Financial Navigator Position Summary The Oncology Financial Navigator (OFN) will be responsible for contacting and educating patients about their insurance benefits, providing treatment estimates, and collecting patient payments, the OFN will be available to all patients in need of financial navigation services. The OFN will secure payment of deductibles, copayments, and educate patients on available payment plans when necessary. A vital part of the OFN's responsibilities is to enroll patients in financial assistance programs including the SJC Financial Assistance Program, pharmaceutical and charity-based assistance programs, and to determine Medicaid eligibility.
